"I love Halloween and have designed and executed a haunted house/trail practically every Halloween since I was in 4th grade. This past year, I executed a Haunted Trail that was attended by nearly 100 individuals (teens and family members) through a parish youth group. Through the beginning of that summer, I had been designing animatronics and planning the details of the path with close friends. They helped scare as actors on the trail as well when the big night finally came. Upon completion, we secured scholarships and raised both money and canned goods (approximate value $500.00) that I donated to the local food pantry."

Quote: "To me, EC means "excellent community." Knowing only my brother when first arriving at Elyria Catholic, it was quite difficult to adapt to high school life. Yet, the community welcomed us with open arms and provided us with a base of great relationships. Every teacher, classmate, or staff member at EC have been so encouraging and uplifting throughout the years. Even though we may all be different, each of us has a place in the community. Like a puzzle, we all form a spectacular image, with me believing that together, we create the face of Jesus Christ, the foundation of all we do at EC. Future Plans: Christian will attend the Air Force Academy (Civil/Mechanical Engineer).
