Christmas on Campus Needs Parents
On Saturday, December 1st from 9am to 1:30pm, EC will host its annual Christmas on Campus to provide a Christmas experience for young students from Lorain County. Juniors and Seniors are paired with a student for the event. We are looking for parents of Junior and Senior students to help that day. Parents are needed to cook, serve and clean up breakfast or provide supervision and assistance at each of the stations. Please email Michelle Hoffman at [email protected] if you are interested.
Charitable Giving
On Thursday, November 1st, All Saints Day, the Advancement Department conducted a presentation for the student body on the importance and power of individual Charitable Giving and its role in our Catholic faith. A summary of the presentation can be found on the letter enclosed with your students' first quarter report card.
Cash Calendar Raffle
The deadline to turn in all of your raffle tickets is next Friday, November 16th. All students are required to sell 8 tickets. If some of your student's 8 required tickets were sold online, the original numbered paper tickets issued to your student still need to be returned in your student's envelope. Drawing for cash prizes begins Tuesday, November 27th. Don't miss out on your chance to win!
Elyria Catholic Annual Parent Appeal
If you have not already made a gift to the Elyria Catholic Annual Fund, please return the pledge form found in your Meet the Teacher Night folder, make a gift online at www.elyriacatholic.com or send a check payable to Elyria Catholic to the Advancement Department. A donation of $150 or more per family helps us reach our goal, but all size gifts are appreciated and make a difference. The participation of our current families in our Annual Fund is one of the metrics other donors use to decide whether to invest. The class with the highest participation in the Annual Fund will be awarded Dress Down Days on December 10, 11 and 12. The contest is based on participation only, size of gifts do not matter.

Our gala, featuring keynote speaker Bishop Nelson Perez, will be held on April 6, 2019.
