National Shakespeare Competition

At the National Shakespeare Competition on Wednesday afternoon, judges, Colin Anderson '12, Brett Luke- Great Lakes Theater & Kevin Juguilon, EC Theater Dir. had a difficult decision to make. First, second & third place went to Nick Ziegelmeyer '19, Aiden Woodyard '20 & Gina Rogers '22!  Congratulations to all five of you on your performances. 

Nick moves on to compete in the Regional Competition at Westlake High School in March — Aidan accompanies him as first runner up in the event Nick cannot fulfill the job— both will engage in a professional acting workshop including complimentary lunches for them and their parents. Both boys now must also prepare to recite a sonnet in addition to their monologue and will be judged in two recitations. Good luck to Nick, Aiden as they move forward.
