Jakob Hwang Memorial Scholarship

Karri Hwang, mother of Jakob Hwang ‘18, awarded the Jakob Hwang Memorial Scholarship to Maddyn Corcoran ‘23 on May 5, 2022 just after the school celebrated Mary at its annual May Crowning prayer service. Jakob was known for his infectious smile, positive attitude, and complete trust and faith in God’s plan. This scholarship is awarded In Jakob’s Memory to a junior at Elyria Catholic High School who exhibits similar qualities. All juniors at Elyria Catholic are invited to apply for this scholarship in the spring of each year.
