The Elyria Catholic High School Class of 1969 has made a donation to Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio in honor of the Elyria Catholic High School Class of 2020 to support relief efforts for one of the current greatest needs in Lorain County, food insecurity.
The Elyria Catholic HS Class of 2020 is a great group of students! Over the past four years, these students have exemplified the high values of Elyria Catholic HS and they will Leave Their Print not only on the EC community but throughout Lorain County. Sadly, what should have been a memory making senior year for them has been cut short by this COVID-19 pandemic resulting in the abrupt cancelation of so many rites of passage – the Girls Basketball State tournament, Spring athletic events, band and choir concerts, the Spring musical, prom and possibly their graduation ceremony.
That said, the EC Class of 1969 hopes that this donation in honor of the current graduating class is a jumping off point for the community impact we expect these students will continue to make in their futures. We wish the Elyria Catholic High School Class of 2020 every success as they begin the next great adventure of their lives!
