Alumni Spotlight: Rehgan Avon '11

Rehgan Avon '11 is the current CEO and Co-founder of Ikonos Analytics, a company whose mission is to help its customers establish and implement standards for analytics quality and operational integration allowing those organizations to confidently rely on their analytics to improve operations. Rehgan is also the Founder & CEO of Women in Analytics, a global community to support the visibility of women making an impact in the analytics field. Rehgan graduated from Ohio State University with B.S. in Industrial Systems Engineering while participating in six different internships with an increased focus on data analytics. Rehgan’s previous experiences were fueled by a passion for early-stage start ups and product development. Rehgan recalls being addicted to Science Olympiad while at EC and that one of her EC teachers, Mrs. Carrie Fritz, helped her develop her love of math. Rehgan recently hosted a Zoom into Your Future - Lunch & Learn program for EC students, sharing all of the recent advances made in the use of Artificial Intelligence and the many types of jobs that are now available in this field.
