ACT Prep Class Prepping for the Future

Students in Miss Harbart and Mrs. Heinrich's ACT Prep class are creating classroom presentations about their college plans using Screencastify technology.  This assignment offers students the opportunity to refine speaking and listening skills while sorting through relevant research data.  The Final Project consisted of providing data on the student's top three college choices, plus one additional school if finances, academics, and other circumstances were not issues.  Once the 20-slide minimum Google Slide Presentation was completed, students used the Screencastify technology to create a Voice-Over that explained the presentation, much like one would do for an ad sales or marketing pitch.  This technology adds another 21st-century skill to the growing list of digital resources being used through this remote distance learning.
