I am pleased to announce that once again our school will again have a ski club. This year our schools will partner with the Friday Night Ski Club to provide six nights of fun on the slopes at Boston Mills Ski Resort. The ski club is partnering with more than a dozen other schools throughout Lorain County to provide a club experience for students in grades 4-12.
The Boston Mills club package costs less than $40 a night and includes rental equipment for either skis or snowboard, five small group lessons, and lift tickets for all chairlifts. For less than $20 a night, optional charter bus transportation to and from Boston Mills is available for those parents who do not want to drive their children to Boston Mills by car. Ski club members will ski or snowboard from 5:30 to 9:30 PM starting on Friday, January 11th, and will ski for six consecutive Friday nights. If it’s necessary to cancel a Friday night because of weather, make up Friday nights will be added to the end of the season.
Ski club registration begins today, October 4
th, and ends on Monday, October 15th. Registrations must be completed online by a parent or guardian at the Friday Night Ski Club webpage and all payments must be made with a credit card.
If you’re interested in the ski club read this
FLYER. It contains detailed information about the costs, supervision, the bus schedule, how to dress, and additional equipment that might needed. All of that information, and even more, can also be found on the club’s webpage, which is,
FNskiClub.com. Or, just Google “The Friday Night Ski Club” and the webpage should pop up in the search results. If a paper flyer is needed, you can pick up a paper flyer from the school office.
If you have any questions call Mr. Humphrey, The Ski Club Director, at 440-452-2068.
