November 1, 2021The recipient of the Pillar of Excellence Award at the sophomore level is Elizabeth George.
The definition for excellence is the quality of being outstanding or extremely good. Elizabeth embodies the Pillar of Excellence in everything that she does, and she definitely stands out among her peers. In the classroom, her hard work has placed her at the top of her class. Outside of the classroom, this student is involved in a number of extracurricular activities including Student Ambassadors, Student Senate, and Theater. Elizabeth truly takes her role as ambassador to heart and loves to promote Elyria Catholic in the community. She is always welcoming to prospective students. This student also demonstrates the Pillar of Excellence in both tennis and track. As a freshman, Elizabeth made varsity for both sports and is continuing to stand out as a leader both in and out of the classroom.
