Pillar of Community Award - Carmen Rush

The recipient of the Pillar of Community award at the sophomore level is Carmen Rush. Carmen has been active in the EC community as a member of the cheerleading squad and track team, as well as being a student ambassador.  She has also been a part of our campus ministry program, most recently serving on the student team for the sophomore retreat. She volunteers at her parish to maintain their social media accounts and ensure that everyone in the community is aware of what is happening at the church. Carmen is one of EC’s most welcoming students; if there is a visitor in the building, she is quick to find them and introduce herself and engage them in conversation. She is always willing and eager to help promote Elyria Catholic and has helped with numerous tours and open houses.
