The recipient of the Pillar of Community award at the junior level is Archie Kenny. It was said that a leader is defined as someone who is consistent, positive, and engaging - Archie has been nothing but that in each of those characteristics. The model of consistency, he has shown time and time again that he cares about his teammates, and that every moment of practice, he is prepared and intensely chasing improvement. Archie is stalwart in the weight room, working hard, pushing others, staying late to do extra work, and being there to mentor his younger teammates with their form and what to do. His positivity is contagious. Archie is always smiling, respectful to all, and is consistently a favorite wherever he goes! He is engaging, as he is always encouraging others and helping them learn from their mistakes instead of yelling at them. Because of all this and more, it was not a surprise when Archie's teammates gave him the honor of being named captain of the football team as a junior, which is extremely rare.
