Mason Haliburton

Coach Ross nominated this freshman student, stating that there is just so much to say about this young man. He is the perfect representation of raw compassion. From the moment he met him, it seems that he hasn't stopped smiling. This young man is a true light and a pleasure to interact with. He has used his voice and acts of kindness to pave a way for his peers and as a way to show his joy, passion, and tenderness. He is willing to carry his fellow Panthers and do what it takes to help others succeed. The passion that he leads his life with is truly inspiring and a pleasure to witness.

Coach Fox adds that he is an extremely nice young man who will gladly do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat. He was always the first to help clean up after others or do anything asked of him. Few kids have this type of positive energy and enthusiasm on a daily basis, and it rubs off on everyone around him.

The recipient of the Pillar of Compassion Award at the freshman level is Mason Haliburton.
