Lucas Fenik '10 was one of five siblings to attend Elyria Catholic and a highly involved member of the school community as well as the swim and soccer teams for four years. Luke credits EC art teacher Ms. Emily Kennard for solidly developing his interest in art and his future career. Luke graduated from The Ohio State University with B.F.A. in Art & Technology, and has already served creative roles in many different industries. He spent two years at Micro Industries focused on enhancing user experiences with touchscreen kiosks. As a graphic designer for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Luke produced print and digital media to enhance the marketing, fundraising, and reputation of the hospital. He also trained in photography, directed photoshoots, and helped to establish the Wexner Medical Center blog which featured his photos. Luke earned an MBA from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and then became a senior graphic designer at Columbus State Community College where he led a team and the college’s admission campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic to increase enrollment.
Luke still resides in the Columbus area and is presently an Associate Creative Director at Paul Werth Associates, a strategic communications firm. Luke travels to the Cleveland area regularly to visit his family and recently traveled to Greece for two weeks.
