Elyria Catholic is fortunate to have two student interns join the Elyria Catholic school community this year.
The Counseling Department welcomes Suzanne Atkinson, an intern from John Carroll University. Suzanne received her bachelors in Psychology from The Ohio State University and will complete her masters in School Counseling this upcoming May. "I will be on campus and available to help students as we navigate through this year!" said Suzanne.
The Student Services Department welcomes an alumni of Elyria Catholic, Ashley Watson, a graduate from the Class of 2016. Ashley completed her undergraduate degree in psychology with a focus in behavior management from Ursuline College in May 2020. She is currently in the Master's Apprenticeship Program (MAP), also at Ursuline College and is planning on receiving her Master's Degree in Special Education certified (K-12) and mild to moderate needs in May 2021. "I am incredibly excited and thankful to be doing my fall internship here," said Ashley.
We are thankful to have Suzanne and Ashley with us this year. They are contributing so much to the efforts of each of the departments this school year. Best wishes on the year and your future endeavors.
