March 29, 2021On Wednesday, March 24, the Elyria Catholic community was delighted to welcome some of our 2021 Alumni Award Recipients to celebrate in our Performing Arts Center. President Annie Heidersbach highlighted each recipient’s remarkable accomplishments before presenting their awards.
"After meeting with over 90 alumni since I began my role as president on July 1, I am certain that Elyria Catholic High School is a breeding ground for compassionate leaders who strive for excellence and make significant contributions in their professional and personal communities. Graduating from a high school that can boast alumni like those we honor today makes an Elyria Catholic education and diploma all the more valuable."

Among those honored on Wednesday were George Garton ‘55 and his wife Mary Jane Garton ‘58, Linda Zemanek Schuster ‘77, Richard Simmons ‘89, and Spencer Roule ‘10. Dr. Richard Kovacs ‘72, LaShanda Taylor Adams ‘92, and Adrianna Davies ‘15 were unable to attend the celebration.
