This year has been marked with many great moments, reflections and memories. It also was the time to plan for many more successful years for future celebrations of Catholic education.
Many comments started this year with “I remember when…” followed by some awesome stories. One thought that always came to my mind while listening was a deep appreciation for all those people mentioned in those memories who did so much to move ECHS to become the great school it is today!
Just as Bishop Nelson Perez stated in his Gala key note speech, EC is celebrating 70 years because THE COMMUNITY wants to support Catholic education, and EC will celebrate many more years as the Community continues to support the school. From my perspective he is absolutely correct! As long as the alum, parents, partners and friends of ECHS support the school, many great things can continue to happen for the students who attend this school!
We look forward to the many great events coming up for the Class of 2019. If you have not yet had the opportunity to visit the school during the 70 th Anniversary there is still time…stop in, take a tour, and see the students involved in engaged learning!
