Brianne McLaughlin-Bittle '05 to deliver Commencement Address

Inspired by our past, investing in our future, Elyria Catholic begins a new tradition by inviting a Commencement Speaker to its 73rd Commencement Exercises. Brianne McLaughlin-Bittle returns to Elyria Catholic, where she graduated in 2005, to address the
Class of 2022 on Friday, May 27, at 6:00 pm in the historic Coliseum.

"As Elyria Catholic ends its celebration of the Year of the Panther and recognition of how our Panthers Prowl with Pride, we are thrilled to welcome back our Panther who is a two-time Silver Medal winner from the 2010 and 2014 Olympic Games held in Vancouver and Sochi," said Annie Heidersbach, President.

Brianne, who continues to uphold the Elyria Catholic Pillars of Excellence, Compassion, Faith, Tradition, and Community by giving back to her community, is sharing her gifts as the goaltending coach for the US Women’s National Team and the Robert Morris Men’s hockey team. Additionally, Brianne directs the McLaughlin Hockey Camps/Lessons for up and coming hockey players at the RMU Island Sports Center (Robert Morris University) in Pittsburgh.
