Growing up, it was pretty evident Kathryn would find her way to the halls of Elyria Catholic High School and not only because she could see the school from her house!
After attending grade school at St. Jude, Kathryn continued her Catholic education as a Panther and graduated in 1973.
As a student, Kathryn enjoyed her time going on ski trips with Mrs. Fye and Mr. McGrath and assisting in creating posters for upcoming athletic events.
Like most high school students, she also spent time with friends. But what’s so special about Kathryn’s Elyria Catholic friends is they still stay in communication to this day. From Zoom calls to meeting in person, Kathryn remains close with friends she’s known since graduating 50 years ago. Some of whom she’s even known since the beginning of her time at St. Jude.
Upon leaving Elyria Catholic, Kathryn attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree. She later earned her Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland State University College of Law. Her career adventures include investment banking, early stage venture capital focusing on health care technologies, and serving as the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Cleveland.
While still working with clients part-time, Kathryn enjoys the better half of retirement relaxing through activities such as yoga and traveling.
