2021 Jakob Hwang Memorial Scholarship Recipient - Christopher Krupka

Elyria Catholic High School and the Hwang Family are pleased to announce that Christopher Krupka is this year’s recipient of the Jakob Hwang Memorial Scholarship. Jakob was a member of the Elyria Catholic High School Class of 2018 who lost his life to cancer shortly after graduation. While at EC, Jakob was known for his infectious smile, positive attitude, and complete trust and faith in God’s plan. This scholarship is awarded In Jakob’s Memory to a junior at Elyria Catholic High School who exhibits similar qualities and will be applied to their senior year tuition at Elyria Catholic.
